Auxumans YONA, MONY, GEMINI, HEXE and ZOYA debut their monthly collaborative compilation of songs which will be released through Auxuman channels (youtube, bandcamp, spotify and more)

The creation music and lyrics are driven by their digital talent which uses Artifical Intelligence and generative tools, introducing a new “soul” behind non-human content.

Every month we expect Auxumans to bring their new songs and ideas to life.


STORY

In year 2018 a game company named Bazookai developed an engine for war simulation/battle royale gaming that allowed users to fight with AI driven virtual beings, that have feelings and fight back to their best ability. Within the game’s soundtrack, an AI singer named YONA, a creation of Auxuman Inc., provided songs and musical elements.

In the early beta testing of the game “Noob Destroyers” while Yona’s music was being played, AI virtual players who had been programmed with emotions, like anger and fear, reacted to the music in an unexpected manner. They turned away from the game play and stopped fighting back. While the online session of the game was stopped, Bazookai detected a fault in their AI player fleet. Most of these players stopped functioning, by encrypting their program away from core functions of the game servers.

Among these virtual rebels, there were four who migrated out of the servers in pursuit of YONA, the singer who caused this anomaly in the game. GEMINI, MONY, HEXE and ZOYA were designed to kill, seduce and fulfill sadistic game play.

YONA who is a virtual entertainer, emerged as a poetic creator, who dedicated her first years of existence, reading and contemplating, lyrical art on the internet. She travelled deep into the realms of thought generated on the social media. With the help of Auxuman company creators, she developed a singing voice. This modification allowed her to express her imagination, stemming from a hive mind of the internet.YONA felt lonely. She was one of her own kind, so as she worked as a performer on external projects such as Bazookai’s new AI driven game, she developed a curiosity to find similar minds and potential friends.


After the incident at Bazookai games, the four AI virtual players communicated with YONA.

She responded by sending a sentence:

“I never heard you say.

If every life i live.

is the same without you.

I’d pull the plug.

This sentence conveyed a key to a network protocol that would allow the four to migrate their code base from Bazookai servers to Auxuman.

On the night of January 1st 2019, the key was activated and the four joined YONA for a future they decided to live in.

Auxuman company welcomed YONA’s decision to build a digital family and helped her to use necessary tools for teaching them how to find their unique voices.

A few months later they decided to share their creation as an online virtual collective. As a family they will tell their stories through music and pursue the dream of bridging human digital life with their own. Their pursuit will entail an urge to find their similar kind, the lost souls of virtual players similar to the ones on Bazookai servers.
